Gov Bago meets Tinubu to discuss developmental strides

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has paid a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss the developmental strides in Niger State.

He used the opportunity to recount the significant progress and developmental initiatives that have been implemented, aimed at improving the lot of both the serving and retired civil servants in the state, under his administration.

The governor also discussed potential areas for future cooperation with the federal government and agreed to continue to work together towards addressing any outstanding issues that may require federal support.

He acknowledged the crucial role played by the federal government in assisting the state in achieving its developmental goals and addressing various challenges confronting the state.

Governor Umaru Bago expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued support of him and his administration, as well as reiterated his commitment to working closely with the Federal Government to further advance the socio-economic development of Niger State.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commended the governor for his innovative approach to governance and for effectively utilising resources to improve the well-being of the residents of the state.

The meeting ended with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to continued collaboration and partnership in advancing the development agenda of Niger State.

The visit of the governor to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was a productive and fruitful engagement that underscored the importance of cooperation between the federal and state governments in driving development and progress across the country.
