Gombe politics: Goje is a political phenomenon in Gombe, Nigeria ― Jamil Gwamna

Former Governor of Gombe State who is presently the Senator representing Gombe Central, Muhammadu Danjuma Goje has been described as a mentor in politics and humane leader per excellence.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna made the assertion while felicitating with Senator Muhammad Danjuma Gone as he clocks 69 years.

Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, who is also the Sardauna of Gombe, in a press release made available to newsmen by his media aide, Ibrahim Sani Shawai Sunday evening stated that many modern politicians in Gombe State have one link or the other with the Danjuma Goje political empire.

He further said that Danjuma Goje, a former Governor of Gombe State from 2003 to 2011 has exhibited rich love for his people and has been working to bring the dividends of democracy to the state as a minister, governor and now a senator.

The release further reads, “Goje is a leader who always surpasses expectation in every dealing with his people and this explains the massive support he enjoys from the people of Gombe, Northeast and Nigeria as a whole.”

It further contained that, “He remains a unifying factor in the politics of Gombe and Nigeria, a loyal leader who always sacrifices for the people he is serving.”

Janilu Gwamna added that “A man who has raised young leaders as a two-term Governor and given the youths the needed platform to serve under him and build a career for themselves.”

“I wish him a happy 69th birthday and many more cheerful years,” Sardauna Gombe stated.
