Global Good Fund Fellowship: Social entrepreneurs to receive $10,000 funding

The Global Good Fund is calling on entrepreneurs in Africa to apply for a 12-month fellowship programme aimed at supporting the leadership development of young social entrepreneurs across the globe.

The Global Good Fund, through the programme, will develops these innovators by pairing them with executives who serve as mentors, and by providing leadership assessment resources, a network of peers, sector expertise, and targeted financial capital.

The applicants for the programme will go through application stages which will include a preliminary questionnaire that is reviewed for alignment with Fellowship criteria.

“In order to be considered for the fellowship, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements: enterprise that the candidate leads is at least one-year old, must have at least one full-time employee in addition to the candidate,” while the candidate will be required to commit full‐time to running his/her enterprise. Candidates applying for this opportunity must not be more than 40 years old and must not  be currently receiving formal coaching/mentoring support. Candidates who meet the requirements will be invited to participate in Phase II of the application process.

After going through all the phases and are successful, eah fellow at the programme will receive a leadership development grant of $10,000.

Applicants are expected turn in their application latest by June 30 to be considered for other phases.
