Barely two weeks after 25 travellers were killed in Jos North local government area of Plateau State, Gunmen suspected to be Fulani militias, on Wednesday, killed over 30 persons including children in a midnight raid.
The latest unfortunate incident occurred at Yelwa Zangam community in the troubled Jos North local government and started from 8:45 pm and lasted till the early hours of Wednesday.
It was gathered that the attackers had disabled the bridge leading to the Anaguta community preventing any access to help before launching their attacks.
The eyewitness who does not want his name in print said several families were burnt alive in their homes while others who sustained injuries are being treated in the hospital.
The Plateau State Police Command is to is yet to give details of the incident, as at the time of filing this report.
