G Flamez has unfolded his plans to spend International Children’s Day on 27 May 2021 at the charity with motherless babies and seniors.
Nigerian born, UK-based singer, songwriter and Afropop artiste Gabriel ‘G Flamez’ Ehigie made the revelation that he will mark this year’s International Children’s day with the less privileged.
“Back in Malaga I used to go with friends to visit the charity homes and spend the day with the kids entertaining them and bringing them gifts,” Gabriel said. He further explained that since moving to the UK in 2019, He hasn’t done that. The coronavirus pandemic last year led to a global lockdown and safety restrictions so He couldn’t follow through with his usual tradition.
G Flamez said that with almost 65% of adults in the UK vaccinated already, he wants to bring that tradition of visiting motherless babies and old peoples homes to spend the day with them. “And even though I have already received my first vaccine dose masks are still mandatory for protection so I will still practice social distancing and also wear a mask” he reiterated.
He says he is excited at the prospect of resuming his yearly Children’s Day visiting tradition. “If for any reason it’s not possible to visit in person I will find a way to do it virtually,” he said.
