First Anniversary: APC chieftain, Babayemi, commends Tinubu’s leadership style

Published by

Omooba Dotun Babayemi, an All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwart in Osun State, has described the leadership style of President Bola Tinubu as one that has engendered peace in the country since his assumption of office.

He gave the Tinubu administration a pat on the back for various policies aimed at turning around the country’s economy for the betterment of the populace.

He maintained that with the support and understanding of Nigerians, the various steps being taken by the Federal Government would help secure the future of the nation.

Babayemi who recently defected from the PDP to APC with thousands of his supporters across the state, enthused that the administration of Tinubu within a year in office, has put in place a systemic foundation that would allow for an enduring growth of the nation on all fronts.

The APC chieftain who was a former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, said this in a press release issued by his media office to congratulate President Tinubu on his first anniversary in office.

“The leadership style of President Tinubu is commendable and will, in the long run, be beneficial to Nigeria and its people. The President means well for the country and its people,” he maintained.

Babayemi noted that though the steps being taken by the administration might somewhat look tough now, it would, in the end, be for the common good of the people of the country.

While urging Nigerians to be patient with the administration, he called for more support so that the government could deliver as expected; stressing, “In addition, we should continue to be law-abiding by avoiding things that could disrupt the peace being enjoyed in the land. This is because nothing meaningful can ever be achieved in a rancourous situation.”
