No fewer than 190 Nigerians have been repatriated by the Federal Government from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This was disclosed by the Director General of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mrs. Zubaida Umar via a statement issued through the Zonal Director, NEMA North Central, Bashir Garga and made available to Nigerian Tribune.
The returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja this morning at 05:59am by a combined team of government officials led by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
In line with extant protocols, all the returnees were profiled and documented by the relevant agencies who sensitized them to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.
To this end, Federal Government urged all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency, and integrity.
