Farmers converge on Dubai for 2019 Meet The Farmers conference

FARMERS from across the world would later this year converge on Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the 2019 Meet The Farmers Conference,

Lead Consultant, Crenov8, a digital management consulting firm which is the organiser of the conference, Bola Oyedele, while addressing journalists during a media briefing at Radisson Blu Hotel, Lagos, said: ”Our aim is to connect large scale agro commodity producers to buyers alike.

“Stakeholders from Africa and the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC), will come together during the two-day event to network, collaborate and form sustainable business partnerships across borders.”

She further hinted that African farmers, participants, exhibitors and delegates at this event will be able to leverage the business opportunities available to them in the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf Corporation Council countries.

“Also, participants will be able to gain insights into wide range of topics such as agro commodity trading in Dubai and others, import and export requirements, laws and policies, financing, shipping, insurance etc.

“Using Dubai as a hub, the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) will now be able to enjoy the rich crops from the tropics Africa, while the African countries will also experience a major boost in agro-trade.

“We are glad to be part of the African economic revolution; pushing the frontiers of food production and cross-border trade of agriculture between Africa and the UAE through Meet The Farmers Conference.”

She concluded that the conference remains the perfect opportunity to network, liaise and build long-lasting trade partnerships within Africa and the Gulf Corporation Council.
