A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI) has donated relief materials to ease the sufferings of people living in the Internally Displaced Camp (IDP) at Kuchigoro, a village within the Federal Capital Territory.

Handling over the materials which included yams, rice, wrappers, tomatoes, toiletries among other items on behalf of the Founder of the foundation, Judith Dame Amaechi, Israel Ebeleme said the materials “will not be enough but is our own way of supporting and giving care to you in your troubled days.”

Receiving the materials on behalf of the victims, Philimo Emmanuel expressed gratitude for the support and called for more support stating that, “our challenge is that we have a small clinic donated by the German Embassy, but there are no drugs and personnel there.”

“We also have a school but no teachers, we have selected among ourselves some people to be teaching in the school but they are not really qualified.”
