Embrace Kwankwaso, remove Ganduje now, APC youths tell Tinubu

Published by

A coalition, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth has called on President Bola Tinubu to perfect the return of presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso to the ruling party.

In particular, the group called on Tinubu to sack the APC National Chairman, Dr Umar Ganduje, for “his failure to deliver Kano State to the APC in the last governorship election.”

Making the call on Sunday in Kano, while addressing journalists, chairman of the coalition, Ali Mai Sango, said facilitating the return of Kwankwaso back to APC will enhance the prospect of the APC in Kano in 2027.

According to him, Kwankwaso’s political clout in Kano and Northern Nigeria is the only assurance that can guarantee Tinubu’s further presidential ambition.

He claimed that Ganduje had lost political relevance in Kano hence having Kwankwaso join the APC will boost the party’s chances in the next general election.
