#ElectionResults: Obi records landslide victory over Tinubu, Atiku in Imo

The Labour Party Presidential candidate (LP), Peter Obi has been declared winner of the presidential election in Imo State.

The Returning Officer, Prof.Charles Esimone, who announced the results in Owerri, on Tuesday said that Obi, polled a total of 354,004 votes, to defeat Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who came second with 66,171 votes.

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, polled 30,044, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP got 1, 536 votes.

Esimone said that the results were collated from the 26 Local Government Areas of Imo State, except Njaba LGA, where results were not collated because of violence.
