El-Rufai’s wife tests negative for coronavirus

The wife of Kaduna State governor, Hadiza Isma el-Rufai, has said that her test result for coronavirus has returned negative.

According to her post on her Twitter page, she said: “Dear Tweeps,

“My COVID-ONE-NINE test result is out.

“I’m NEGATIVE.

“Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes.

“#StayAtHomeStaySafe

“#WashYourHands”

Recall that on Saturday, Governor Nasir El-Rufai disclosed that he tested positive for coronavirus.

Following the Saturday’s announcement, Hadiza had disclosed that she would be getting tested on Sunday.

As at the time of filing this report, Nigeria has recorded 131 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 81 in Lagos, 25 in FCT, 3 in Ogun, 2 in Enugu, 1 in Ekiti, 8 in Oyo, 2 in Edo, 2 in Bauchi, 2 in Osun while Rivers, Benue and Kaduna recorded one respectively.
