GOVERNORSHIP candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 election in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has noted the need for Muslims and Christians alike, to work towards brotherliness and peaceful coexistence.
In a message commemorating this year’s Eid-el-Fitri, Adelabu urged Muslims to continually attend to the yearnings of the poor, internally displaced, widows, orphans and less privileged members of the society even after the Ramadan period.

The message issued by his media aide, Mr Bayo Busari further enjoined Muslims to continue to live out the Ramadan principles of self-denial, perseverance, selflessness and charity.
“As we emerge from the holy month of Ramadan, may the lesson of Ramadan never be lost upon us. May we continue to hold ourselves to higher standards, be our brothers’ keeper, pray for our country and work towards brotherliness and peaceful coexistence,” Adelabu said.
Furthermore, he called on Nigerians to continue to pray and support President Muhammadu Buhari administration in its efforts to bring about economic prosperity.
