Chief Ede Dafinone has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for the Delta Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Dafinone of the renowned family of chattered accountants and industrialist went to the poll unopposed at the Ughelli Township Stadium, Ughelli on Saturday.
His candidacy for the senatorial election was granted via a poll of 383 votes.
As it is now, Dafinone will square it up with ousted senator, Chief Ighoyota Amori of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the coming general elections.
