Dressing to stay classy as a woman

Wealth will get you a lot of nice and awesome things, but you don’t have to spend a fortune to look classy and polished. You also do not need to go to an institution to learn how to act like a lady. There’s a saying which goes: “dress the way you want to be addressed.”  Dressing like a woman is half, while the rest is up to you.

Generally, confidence is a key factor. You should treat yourself like a queen. If you do so, you won’t dress shabbily and won’t look poorly.  According to legendary Spanish designer, Cristobel Balenciaga, “No woman can make herself chic, if she is not chic herself.” Therefore, being a woman is much more than the way you dress. Do you know that there is this feeling you get when you dress good? A feeling of accomplishment. If, for instance, you are not wearing something nice and you go for an outing and you see others properly dressed, tell me how you will feel? Definitely, you will be looking at yourself and you’ll feel bad. Your moral will be low and self esteem gone! When you see other moving with confidence, you’ll feel shy to mingle.

There are some things every woman should know when it comes to dressing stylishly and classy, First is to organise and edit your closet or de-cluttering your wardrobe by selling some clothes or donating them. You could also invest in styles that work with your shape, like going to a tailor to sew nice pieces or you shop for ones that suit your shape. Don’t forget to also accessorise, it could be with shoes, bags, sunglasses, jewelries.

Selecting of colours to suit your skin tone also matters. If in doubt, wear solid neutrals like black, white, grey, silver, navy blue, beige, cream. In addition to this, you should also show the right amount of skin. Try to be moderate in your dressing; never over expose.

Knowing your body shapes and sizes are important. Most female bodies fall into one of the following body shape categories: pear, apple, straight, inverted triangle or hourglass. If you have this knowledge, you’ll know how to combine different clothes and what type of clothes you can wear.

For skinny women, don’t wear skinny jeans, pay attention to upper body fit, avoid v-necks, wear slim shoes, play with patterns and colours, wear slim fitted tailoring, avoid vertical shapes, try layering for instance wear a jacket on a gown or a chunky necklace to make yourself look bigger.

For plus-size women, embracing your body should be the most important. Invest in your underwear. Don’t just wear over sized fabric; wear fitting clothes that flatter you. Embrace vintage. Accessorise strategically, Wear the appropriate accessories. Embrace prints like polka dots; when in doubt, try wrap dress. Use colour to your advantage.

Looking good everyday is easier than you think. Opt for clothes that fit you well and make you comfortable. It is wonderful to see women who dress well and confident as well. Dressing well makes you look and feel good. It gives you a feeling of accomplishment.
