Don’t allow bandits overrun the northwest

The latest bandit attack that claimed the lives of 15 police officers in Zamfara state is disheartening. How do we comprehend the fact that terrorist have outnumbered and outsmarted our security apparatus? Terrorist carrying sophisticated weapons to attack security formations and sacking villages is unacceptable. We can’t be allowed to continue this way.

However, a condition where non state actors are challenging the sovereignty of our country is indeed a national embarrassment and humiliation. Indeed, superior force must be applied to completely subdue these heartless terrorists.

The increased levels of inflation are linked to the menace of unscrupulous groups that pull farmers away from their lawful businesses. Achieving food security would remain a pipe dream without eradicating the terrorists who continue to wreak devastation on our people.

Security is everyone’s business, and we must all work together to ensure the safety of our communities and country in general.

The Nigerian security agencies should, as a matter of urgency, buckle up, change its system because it isn’t working and put up new ideas and innovations that will decimate the activities of criminals in the country.
