Diversity should not be our weakness but our strength

We all indeed crave for a better Nigeria with deep faith in the Almighty that our wailing shall end someday and leave behind for us overwhelming joy. The much anticipated 2023 presidential election is gone and even far from us.

My feelings are quite inexplicable because we claim to believe in the preaching of our  various religions, but we ignore some of the basic tenets of our religions. Our belief in fate and fatalism is of doubt because Nigerian politicians do not let things go.

I do not have anything against seeking redresses at the court. It is one’s inalienable right, no doubt about that. Our prestigious state Nigeria needs harmonised effort for any effective growth. And that is for us to make our bygones to be bygones.

It behooves the president to be wise in choosing his ministers because they have a huge role to play in the Federal Government administration.

Civil servants are not left out because the corruption in the civil service is ineffable and most civil servants need to be exorcised of their corruption. Obloquies, aspersions and denouncements should be avoided. Carelessness in speeches, verbal assault and cyber bullying are now common on social media.

Lastly, diversity should not be our weakness. The United States military remains invincible and mighty as a result of the diversity in it. Diversity should not be our weakness but our strength.
