COVID-19: Osinbajo tests negative

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who has been on self-isolation following his interaction with COVID-19-infected Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, has reportedly tested negative to the virus.

According to a tweet on Wednesday morning by Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs, the Vice President’s test result came back negative.

“Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tested negative,” he tweeted on Wednesday morning,” the Ekiti State-born political tweeted.

Osinbajo had not previously announced that he was being tested for the virus even though his spokesman, Laolu Akande, confirmed on Tuesday that Osinbajo had gone into self-isolation and working from home.
