The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 938 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 143,516.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.
Nigeria also recorded eight COVID-19 deaths, raising the total fatality in the country to 1,710.
“On the 11th of February 2021, 938 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 143516 cases have been confirmed, 118012 cases have been discharged and 1710 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 938 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos (236), FCT (123), Plateau (92), Benue (63), Katsina (53), Oyo (50), Osun (45), Kaduna (43), Edo (33), Ogun (31), Ebonyi (31), Akwa Ibom (30), Kano (26), Gombe (18), Bauchi (16), Delta (12), Imo (11), Cross River (10), Rivers (10), Niger (5),” the NCDC said,
