The officers operating at Ashaka now function from Kwale Divisional Police Station as a result of the incident.

Hon Governor said that as the chief security officer of the local government area, he was taking responsibility for rebuilding the police station through the local government council.

He said that those that perpetrated the act would be fished out to face the law, adding that investigation was ongoing and yielding results.

The council chairman advised parents to watch over their wards and ensure they do not engage in criminal activities, assuring that no stone would be left unturned to rid the local government area of criminals.
