Media personality and former winner of Big Brother Africa (BBA), Uti Nwachukwu, whose tweet on the viral interview of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sparked outrage says those who condemned him for airing his views don’t like the truth.
In a brief interview with Tribune Online, Uti said he was surprised that people twisted his words to suit their narrative about his decision to stand with his family against any romantic affair with a partner.
Uti had revealed in a tweet that his family comes first before any romantic relationship, saying he would never turn his back on his family or bring any member of his family down for a romantic partner, even if that family member was Clifford Orji.
According to him, I will put my family first and like I said, I will stand with my family even if it is Clifford Orji against any romantic relationship I may have.
Speaking further, Uti said people hate to be told the truth especially when that truth does not appeal to their sentiment.
“I said what I said but people always blow things out of proportion because they don’t like the truth or anybody who tells them the truth.
“I have said what I said and I have moved on. Let them keep saying what they like. I am not bothered at all,” he said.

Inside Ibadan Bound Train From Lagos
The train started the 156.65 kilometres journey to Lagos at exactly 08:00hrs. The pace of its acceleration was minimal.
At about 25 minutes, the train slowed down at the uncompleted Omi-Adio terminal, a village on the Abeokuta/Ibadan expressway; it’s a stone throw from Apata in Ibadan. Conveyance of passengers from there and other terminals has not kickstarted as the terminals are still under construction and workers were found there.Clifford Orji tweet: People hate my tweet because they don’t like to be told the truth ― Uti Nwachukwu
