A caretaker identified as Sanni Kennedy, who was arrested and charged on Friday, appeared before an Ikeja magistrate’s court for fraud and stealing.
Sanni, who had no fixed address, was accused by one Abimbola Henry who claimed that the accused allegedly obtained N690,000 under false pretence and also stole N750,000 from him.
Sanni, was further alleged to have fraudulently obtained the sum of N2,680,000, which he collected as rent on a property located at Serah Abimbola Street Fajulo Phase 3, Ijegun, and also forged the document and receipt of the property .
The accused pleaded not quilty, while the presiding magistrate, Aje Afunwa granted him bail of 400,000 with the two sureties in like sum. The matter was adjourned till 16th september 2016 for mention.
