Published by

In the last eight years, 47-year-old Yinka Popoola has been living in pains as a result of a cancerous facial tumor which has cost her everything she has, including her family; husband and five children who abandoned her to her fate when they couldn’t cope with the bills and stress of her ailment.

Mrs Popoola, whose case has been described as chronic can’t remember how her issue started but at present, eating even when food is available is impossible as she cannot take anything except fluid.

At present, she is in urgent need of N5, 000,000 for surgery in India but she has no one to foot the bills as she is at the mercy of the Solomon for Jesus Foundation, a global nongovernmental organization that took her in after her family abandoned her.

Now, her mouth has become disproportionately bigger than her face. And according to a medical report from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), the victim was sent to the hospital on referral and a report which shows histological report of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the face.

“Mrs Yinka Popoola’s case has been sent to one of our partner hospitals called Fortis Memorial Research Institute Hospital in India which can carry out corrective surgery. We, the Solomon for Jesus Foundation, have arranged her travel documents and visa. We want to solicit the help of the general public especially well meaning individuals to assist the victim so that we can fly her to India. The N5, 000, 000 is for her surgery bill. We have arranged every other thing she needs,” the foundation said.

To assist, her account details are as follows:
