Can I take green and black tea?

I am both Hypertensive and Diabetic. Kindly advise me on whether or not I can be drinking both Green tea and Lipton tea.

 

Several studies have shown that drinking tea was associated with a reduced risk of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. The protective effect is due primarily to the antihypertensive active ingredients, such as the tea polyphenols.
