Udoye is facing a 15-count charge bordering on forgery and counterfeiting.
The Prosecuting Counsel, Mrs Amaka Allen-Ngbale, told the court that the accused committed the offences between December 2017 and January 2018 at No. 216, Borno Way, Ebute Meta on Lagos Mainland.
She said the accused was caught by the monitoring team of SON while committing the offence.
“The monitoring team got a tip-off from the public and raided the warehouse where the accused operates,’’ he said.
According to the prosecutor, the offences contravene the provisions of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) Act, 2015.
The accused, however, denied the charge.
