Buhari sends get well quick message to UK prime minister

President Muhammadu Buhari has on behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, has wished Prime Minister Boris Johnson a quick recovery and restoration to full health.

A statement issued by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) in Abuja on Tuesday said President Buhari’s sympathy and solidarity are with the British leader as he battles COVID-19 personally, and with the British people as their country battles the devastating effects of the pandemic.

Buhari prayed that Prime Minister Johnson will soon be well enough to resume his great leadership of his country at this most trying time in global history.

Johnson, who is afflicted by COVID-19, has been admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a London hospital following his worsening condition.
