British envoy, family, personal doctor denied access to Kanu ― brother cries out

The younger brother of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, says, the Department of State Services, DSS, on Wednesday denied him, a British High Commission envoy and Kanu’s personal doctor access to Kanu who is in detention.

Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel, who made the allegation in a telephone interview with reporters late Thursday evening, expressed his anger over the development.

He said he went to the DSS headquarters Abuja in the company of a representative from the British High Commission and Kanu’s personal doctor but they were all prevented from having access to the IPOB Leader.

According to him, the British representative was simply told she could not see Kanu because she is a foreigner even as they waited from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm without success before departing the Secret police’s headquarters.
