BoxxCulture, a boutique media agency based in Lagos recently hosted Hollywood talent agent, Fela Oke at a private session themed “Demystifying Representation”.
The session was focused on discussing candid show business affairs and best practices for talents in film, music, fashion and other industries.
Held at Ahava Cafe, Lekki, the session served as an important forum to discuss the importance of talent representation in Nigeria, citing it a key factor for the structured entertainment industry.
The session had in attendance actors, musicians, media entrepreneur, show business enthusiasts, On-Air personalities, Writers, Podcasters and some startup founders who engaged the speaker during the Q and A session in areas relating to their various crafts.
Some of the guests present were Nse Ikpe-Etim, Lani Aisida, Olumide Oworu, Asa’ah Samuel, Dolapo Alade, Adetoun Oshodi and many more.
Fela Oke, who has over 20 years of experience in media, entertainment, sports, events and lifestyle and is currently a Senior Agent at CK Talent Management, urged guests to hone their skills and embrace collaboration for growth.
He further advised talents to focus on what they can achieve locally before desiring external validations from Hollywood and other international markets.
The session forms a part of BoxxCulture’s series of events aimed to create value and growing a community of informed talents.
