Not many understand the bond between Osun monarch, the Olowu Kuta, Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama and the former Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai.
Both men were spotted recently in Ibadan, Oyo State, at a function and they exhibited a rare display of closeness, judging by their appearance, presence and exit from the event.
The former Chief of Army Staff, who was, until recently, Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Benin usually spend most of his quiet moment in Owu-Kuta where the King keeps a quarters under his name.
The Olowu-Kuta, who celebrated his coronation anniversary recently, revealed it was providence that brought him and Buratai together.
While claiming that the ex-soldier has been the major force, providing employment for many of his people, he said he intends to make public the real story of how they met and all he has done for him in his memoir, which he promised to launch in 2024.
