Civil servants have been implored to be committed to their duties in the interest of the progress of the country.
The Chief Missioner of Al-Fathiu Qureeb Society of Nigeria in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State, Ustaz Yahaya Babatunde, made the plea in Afon during a special prayer held for retiring Director of Personnel Management at Moro Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdul Rasaq Ayinde.
Babatunde described the civil service as the engine room of the government and noted that civil servants had crucial role to play in the success of any administration at a given period.
