According to him, for his administration to meet the huge expectations of the citizens of the state, there was the need for members of the Council to give him their maximum support as well as engage in constructive criticism and advice.

The Emir of Bauchi also assured the Governor that members of the council and indeed the entire traditional rulers in the state will never sabotage, betray or fail him but rather, will engage in creating awareness among their subjects on the need to support and cooperate with government as contained in a statement by Muktar Gidado, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity.
