Bandits kill one, abduct 19 in Kaduna

Bandits stormed Anguwar Makeri in Anguwaku community of Kajuru Local Government area of Kaduna state and killed one person and abducted 19 people in the process.

Speaking in an interview, the Secretary of the Community Development Association Tanimu Makaddas, who gave a detailed account of the attack said  the bandits stormed the community around 12:00 am on Saturday.

According to Makkadas, the hoodlums opened fire at one Kukah Yari and he slumped and died on the spot, while one other person Abuki Dogo was injured.

He said the following people were kidnapped kidnapped, Yakubu Abba, Basiru Maiwada, Keziya Silas, Peace Silas, Lami Istifanus, Habila Musa, Bege Liazarus, Joshua Abuki and Juliana Habila.

Others were,  Stelah Yohanna, Genesis Ezikiel, Deborah Ezikiel, Salomi Dutse, Rifkatu Zaphaniah, Tamar Liazarus, Ejah Habila, Rejoice Ezikeil, Catharine Silas, and Gundu Rubu.

As at the time of filling the report, he said the abductors are yet to contact the community or any of the family members.

When contacted, the Police Image maker, ASP Mannir Hassan could not confirm the attack.
