My baby’s disappearing testicles

Published by

Sometimes I will feel the testicles of my 3-month-old baby inside the scrotum and sometimes the testicles will not be there again. Please let me know what to do. I am very worried.

It is normal in some babies for the testicles to be retractile (hypermobile) even when the testes are fully descended. These testes usually move back and forth between the scrotum and the abdomen. The testes usually stop retracting by puberty and do not require surgery or other treatment. Therefore, you have nothing to worry about.
