The new National Chairman of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu; former presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar; Senator Bukola Saraki, all governors elected on the platform of PDP are expected in Awka, the Anambra State capital, on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, for the grand finale of the party’s governorship campaign.
Others expected, among others, are members of the National and State Assembly under PDP and other top leaders of the party.
The candidate of the party, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, announced this on Monday evening, during a press conference, in preparation for the rally, slated to hold at Alex Ekwueme Square Awka.
He said about 20,000 supporters across the South-East region are also expected to attend the ceremony.
He appealed to media organizations to instil fears on those who plan to rig the election and to encourage those that want free and fair election for the sake of Ozigbo, PDP, Anambra people and Ndigbo in general.
