In her opening remarks, Fijabi acknowledged and recognised the presence of His Royal Highness, Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran (Alakinyele of  Akinyele Land) and his wife, Olori Olajumoke Odeniran, who graced the occasion, and appreciated the management of Akinyele Football Club and their coaches for promoting footballers at the grassroots level.

She concluded that football remained one of the sports that unite the whole world and added confidently that she was ready to establish and promote a female football club in Akinyele local government area. Fijabi also promised to promote the footballers at the grassroots till they reached their apex.
