Army arrests 3 drug peddlers, seizes 3.5kg cannabis, cocaine in Ogun

The Nigerian Army on Tuesday arrested three drug peddlers in the Ijebu Ode area of Ogun State

The Army during the arrest also seized cannabis weighing 3.5kg, cocaine and other hard drugs.

The acting officer commanding 35 provost company, Captain Gabriel Onyebuchi, disclosed this while addressing newsmen at Alamala Barracks Abeokuta, that a woman and two boys were arrested.

Onyebuchi explained that the leader of the gang suspected to be the husband of the woman escaped arrest.

“We have cocaine and other hard drugs here. We have handed the victim over to the NDLEA so that they can go ahead and prosecute them,” he said.
