Appeal Court constitutes Election Petitions Tribunal for Kogi governorship election

The President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa has constituted the Governorship and Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Kogi State.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday by the Secretary of the Tribunal, Umar Abubakar, it stated that the mandate of the Tribunal is to hear and determine petitions that may arise from the Kogi State Governorship Election conducted on tye the 16 of November 2019 and the forthcoming supplementary/Rerun Elections into Kogi West Senatorial constituency and Ajaokuta Federal Constituency scheduled to be conducted on Saturday 30th of November, 2019.

It further added that the Secretariat and Registry of the Tribunal are open to the public and is located at the FCT High Court, Zone 2, Abuja.
