The commendation came at the end of a 2-day Performance Management and Appraisal System Workshop organized for staff of the State Ministry of Lands, held at the Seminar/Workshop Hall in Arnold & Associates Headquarters, Millennium City Layout, Awka, on Friday.
The State Commissioner for Lands, Prof. Offornze Amucheazi, SAN, who addressed the workshop, indicated that all the participants have shown their readiness to support the Governor in actualizing his blueprint, which encompasses a paradigm shift in the conduct of public service.
He also mentioned that they have resolved to pursue diversification of the economy into non-oil sectors and intensify efforts to reinvigorate the Internally Generated Revenue machinery of the state through effective and efficient land use and administration.
The Commissioner and the participants expressed their appreciation to Governor Soludo for providing the necessary platform for the workshop.
In his closing remarks and vote of thanks, the Commissioner emphasized that the essence of the workshop is to equip the staff of the Ministry with the necessary knowledge and know-how to achieve the dreams of Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo CFR for the state. He also noted that the present administration would achieve remarkable results for the benefit of all.
The Commissioner further extended his appreciation to Mr. Arnold Ekweoba, the CEO of Arnold Ekweoba and Associates Limited, for providing the venue of the workshop, as well as Ubosi Eleh & Co and McTimothy Associates Consulting LLC, who were the facilitators of the workshop.
Arnold & Associates, on its part, congratulated the Commissioner and the entire management and staff of the Ministry of Lands for taking this strategic and progressive step towards realizing Governor Soludo’s vision of making Anambra State a livable and prosperous homeland.
According to the organizers of the workshop, the selection of Arnold and Associates headquarters in Awka for the workshop was based on the fact that the new office complex offers the ideal environment for such an event.
