The state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, gave the charge at the installation and presentation of staff of office to Oba Olabinjo at the Eposo palace in Ode-Remo.

He said:‘’I enjoin the people of Eposo to give the new traditional ruler the necessary support and cooperation to move Eposo forward. As a developing community, all hands must be on deck to pave the way for speedy development in all sectors of its socioeconomic life.’’

The governor, in a release signed by the Press Officer of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Oluwaseun Boye, also promised to ensure that the people of Ogun State would continue to enjoy dividends of democracy, irrespective of their location, religion or political affiliations, adding that the implementation of the five cardinal programmes, as enshrined in the mission to rebuild the state, would be vigorously pursued.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of Remo North-East LCDA, Mr Segun Samuel, appreciated sons and daughters of Remo land for their turnout, noting that it was an indication that the choice of Oba Olabinjo was the wish of the people.

He also admonished Oba Olabinjo to display leadership qualities by mobilising the resources of the entire people to make the community a role model in development.

In his acceptance speech, Oba Olabinjo appreciated the state government, the people of Eposo land and other well-wishers who had worked tirelessly towards the success of his installation.

He promised to use his office for the growth and development of the community.
