Alcohol and hypertension

I have been managing my Hypertension well for the past few years. Although I drink in moderation, kindly let me know how much alcohol I can be taking that will not worsen my hypertension.

According to a recent release by the World Health Organization (WHO) from a BP perspective, it’s best to avoid alcohol intake. However, it is usually advised that if someone is already drinking alcohol and does not want to stop doing so, minimizing alcohol consumption is desirable. Consumption of two or less standard drinks per day for men and one or less standard drinks of alcohol per day for women is recommended.
