Expresses commitment to quality service delivery

Telecoms service providers, Airtel, over the weekend in Lagos rewarded its trade partners, especially distributors, that positively contributed to the company’s bottonline in the last 12 months, even as the company also reiterated its commitment to being the best internet service provider in the country.

Speaking at the event tagged ‘Smart Partners Award,’ the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Segun Ogunsanya, explained that the award was meant to express the company’s gratitude to those trade partners that had contributed to the company’s success stories in the past one year, in spite of the turbulent economic times.

He noted that the contributions of such partners, had helped the company grow its bottomline, create and deliver value to its subscribers all over the country.

Ogunsanya expressed the company’s belief in the nation’s business environment, despite the challenging economic times, stating that the company, in the past two years, had invested heavily on its infrastructure, in its bid to achieve its mission of being the best internet service provider in the country.

According to him, the winners had been categorised into four regions, while the most revenue-earning partner will be rewarded with a car.

“The idea is to celebrate a partnership that works,  a winning partnership. Interestingly, this has become more imperative because in spite of the harsh economic weather, these partners were still able to help the company grow its bottomline and deliver value to our customers.

“We are also using this medium to appeal to them not to rest on their oars. Our mission is to be the best internet company. That is why we’ve put so much investment behind this in the last two years. But one thing we are sure of is that we can’t achieve this without the support of our customers,” he said.
