Afraid of the covid-19 vaccine

I am a 65- year- old pensioner. Although I am tired of using the Facemask, I am equally frightened about taking the Covid-19 Vaccine. Kindly let me know if the Vaccine is safe for me and my family.

Before its approval, the Covid-19 vaccine had been successfully tested  on human volunteers all over the world, therefore, there is nothing to be afraid of. Although some people who are normally allergic to other drugs may also feel a bit unwell for a few days after taking the Vaccine, the Vaccine is quite safe. Depending on the type of Vaccine you took, you may need to take a second shot of the vaccine for full protection. Since immunity to the Covid infection may take months to be fully established after taking the vaccine, you may need to still be using the facemask for some time even after taking the Vaccine.
