ACOMORAN national president promises tech transport monitoring system

The newly sworn-in national president of Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repair and Riders Association of Nigerian (ACOMORAN), Prince Samsudeen Adebayo Apelogum, has promised to introduce a tech-driven transport system to monitor riders.

Apelogum, who made the promise at his swearing in ceremony in Abuja on Thursday, said the move was aimed at improving customer connections.

He also disclosed that ACOMORAN members play a vital role in CNG gas consumption throughout Nigeria’s 774 local governments, therefore, called on the Federal Government to establish CNG gas stations across the 774 local governments.

Apelogum said: “To adapt to the digital era, we are working vigorously on ACORIDE, a tech-driven transport system aimed at monitoring riders and improving customer connections.

“Our members play a vital role in CNG gas consumption throughout Nigeria’s 774 local governments, supporting accessibility and business activities, therefore, we appeal to the Federal Government to establish CNG gas stations in the 774 local governments.

“Furthermore, we are committed to collaborating with insurance firms to offer top-tier life and HMO coverage to our members.

“Our commitment in collaborating with security and law enforcement agencies to continue yearly strategic seminars and stakeholder meetings, ensuring comprehensive training and orientation for our members nationwide,” he stated.
