Abiodun, Sanwo-Olu lauded over Lagos-Ogun Joint commission

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun, Mr Tope Akintunde has applauded Governor Dapo Abiodun and his Lagos State counterpart, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the recently signed Lagos-Ogun Joint Commission saying that the initiative was a bold step that would impact greatly on the development of the two states.

Chief Executive Officer of Aerofield Homes, Mr Tope Akintunde, gave this commendation while speaking with journalists.

Akintunde especially lauded Governor Dapo Abiodun for supporting the initiative noting that with the proximity of Ogun State to Lagos, residents of Ogun state had a lot to benefit from Lagos’s huge economy.

Akintunde noted that the partnership between the two governors was already seeing the combination of strength to fix the impassable Sagamu-Ogijo-Ikorodu as well as Abeokuta-Sango-Lagos expressway among others.

He further pointed out that the partnership was bound to continue to impact positively on the lives of the residents of both states.

He said, “What drives economy all over the world is partnership, it is in the light of this reality that I want to say synergies and initiative like this are welcome, they are good steps towards maximising the abundant potentials in human, financial and other natural resources that will ultimately help in creating a better society and make life more bearable for all.”

“It is on this note that I am lauding Gov Dapo Abiodun for being very creative with governance issues and that is simply because his administration in the last two years had majorly focused on efforts to make life so much easier and better for the people of the state.”
