Abia APC would not be distracted ― Legal Adviser

The Legal Adviser of Abia All Progressive Congress, ( APC), Merenyechi Onuoha, said that the party in Abia would not be distracted, but would continue to wax stronger.

Onuoha asserted this in Umuahia while swearing in a new state Acting Deputy Chairman and inaugurating new LGA chairmen as according to him, “nature abhors vacuum”.

Allwell Enwereji replaced the party’s former Acting State Deputy Chairman, Chief Ogumka Adiele, who dumped APC for the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), last week, while the LGA chairmen emerged during the recent local government congress of the party in the state.

According to him, come 2023, APC would take over Abia and admonish party faithful to remain steadfast and work hard for APC victory at the polls in 2023.

Charging the newly inaugurated chairmen to inject new blood and energy into the party’s drive to occupy Abia Government House, the party Legal Adviser enjoined them to shun anti-party activities but build a solid grassroots base that would guarantee APC victory at the polls.

Responding after the inaugurations, the new Acting state Deputy Chairman, Enwereji, thanked the party hierarchy for choosing him and promised to work harmoniously with the Acting State Chairman, Chief Donatus Nwankpa, to lift the party to greater heights.

Enwereji promised to abide by the party’s statutes and to discharge his mandate without fear or favour.
