Abdulfatai Ahmed back on social grill

In what seemed like his first social appearance four years after leaving office as the Governor of Kwara State, Dr Abdulfatai Ahmed, is back on party circuit.

The soft-spoken politician, who served the people of Kwara State diligently for eight years, made a surprise appearance at Ara town a few days ago, for the chieftancy ceremony of Sodium boss, Bisoye Fagade as the Asoju Oba of Ara Kingdom.

Decked in white flowing agbada with a cap to match, Dr Ahmed appeared calm as usual as he acknowledged greetings from friends and admirers.

The chieftancy ceremony conducted at the palace of the Alara of Ara kingdom, Oba Olubayo Adesola Windapo, who presented instrument of office and certificate to Fagade and his wife, said the brand expert was found worthy of the honour because of his invaluable contributions to humanity.

Kunle Afolayan, Rotimi Ajanaku, Steve Ayorinde, Yomi Fash, Lanre Alfred, Akinwale Akinwole were part of the guests spotted at the event, where Tolu Obey and Adunni Nefertiti lighted up the space with their electrifying performances.
