5 tips on how to create a memorable Easter Sunday experience

Easter Sunday is a unique day; it marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a day for you to show appreciation and how His grace has been shielding you. The teachings of the resurrection day and events that happened before the Lord was finally crucified should be your guiding light. No matter the situation or how terrible you think you are; Jesus’ love for you conquers it all.

On Easter Sunday, in your own way, to show appreciation for the love He has for you and to as well spread the love —- embrace the five tips below.

1. Pray

Before going to church; no matter how early you’re expected to be there, take time to pray as soon as you wake up. Thank Him for the love and kindness towards you. The tribulations He went through so that you can be saved. Open your Bible; recite verses and digest every single word. 

2. Wear a nice outfit

Easter Sunday is a special day that should also be portrayed in your dressing. Select a decent outfit; if it requires you to iron it, please do it before the day. You should be neatly groomed; make sure to cut or make your hair. Let everyone see the joy of the Lord in you.

3. Prepare Gifts

The gifts you intend to give away depend on what you want. What you feel would resonate with people in this period. You don’t have to go extreme, but of course if you can afford to go any length; why not? A card gift is not bad, a bracelet,  perfume, wristwatch, flowers, Christian books and the Holy Bible are things you can give someone. It is a way of celebrating one another through the love of Jesus Christ and the significance of Easter Sunday.

4. Hang out 

Easter Sunday should be a day of joy and refreshing to your soul. Loosen up and have fun with your family and friends. Visit places; it could be a mall, eatery, cinema or game centre. Celebrate and bid a forever bye to your worries. 

5. Preach

You might not be an evangelist; it is okay. You can as well preach to others telling them how Jesus Christ died and resurrected for their sake. How they should imbibe His teachings and allow Him into their lives. You can compile all these into a simple text and send it to your contacts.
