2023: Kwara PDP senatorial aspirant supports Abdulrazaq’s second-term bid

Former Kwara North senatorial aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hajia Aisha Ahman -Pategi, has endorsed the re-election bid of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for a second term in office.

Hajia Ahman -Pategi, who was a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Governor Abdulrazaq’s cabinet from 2019 to August 28, 2020, resigned following a purported official dispute.

Speaking in Ilorin on Wednesday, Hajia Ahman-Pategi said she had joined forces with the progressives, while calling for the re-election of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in the March 11, 2023 governorship and State House of Assembly polls.

“Absolutely, I work for the progressive in the past election. I will do the same come Saturday inshaAllah #AAP for #GAA 4+4”.

She reiterated that as a progressive, her decision was borne of respect for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) and her discussions with relevant stakeholders.

“No other side dear. It’s all about the people of Kwara, especially Kwara North and Patigi local government area. For Your Information: Ashiwaju has been a long-time mentor and father to me.”

Hajia Aisha Ahman-Pategi also said that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s commitment to Kwara North 2027 agenda earns him a place as the best candidate for a second term in office to consolidate his achievements across all sectors.
