The party chieftains said this during the inauguration of the Buhari/Osinbajo campaign office located at Maryland area of the state.
Speaking with newsmen, Sanwo-Olu, who pledged to operate an all-inclusive government if elected into office, come 2019, enjoined all aggrieved members to work towards the victory of the party both at the state and the federal.
The governorship candidate said he had already extended an olive branch to every member who felt cheated or shortchanged at the just-concluded party primaries to enable APC to work as a team and achieve victory at the polls, noting that any victory recorded in 2019 would not be for him alone but all members of the party.

“We will campaign together, get the victory for Lagos State and get the victory for President Muhammadu Buhari and for all other contestants, that is our target and we will achieve that if we work as a family,” Sanwo-Olu said.
Also speaking, Salvador, the South-West DG, Campaign for Buhari/Osinbajo, who also appealed to the aggrieved members to sheath their swords, said the challenge before him was to make sure Sanwo-Olu won a landslide in the state and also to ensure President Buhari was returned into office in the coming polls.
“The challenge before me is to make sure Sanwo-Olu wins in Lagos State with a landslide victory and President Buhari is returned. It is an assignment given to me and I can assure you that it will be delivered,” he said.
Salvador, who is the immediate past chairman of Lagos chapter of PDP, said he believed the APC had not been able to maximize its capacity, assuring that he would bring his experience to bear to ensure that the party performed maximally at the forthcoming elections by recording nothing less than 2 million votes.
“APC has not been able to maximise its capacity. I will bring my experience to bear to ensure it performs maximally at the forthcoming elections. My target is to get two million votes for APC during the governorship election in Lagos.
“I am appealing to all APC aggrieved members to sheath their swords, remember that we are working for the victory of the party, the party is above any one individual, so we must put the party’s interest first,” Salvador said.
Cardinal Odunmbaku, while also speaking on reconciliation, noted that every member counts, assuring that no one would be ignored or shunned to present a united front, come 2019.
He said this would be done to make the party record a resounding success at the poll.
Prince Oluwa, who addressed the leaders and members that gathered at the Maryland campaign office of Buhari/Osinbajo, stated that there was a need for urgent reconciliation to appease the aggrieved members, following the crisis that rocked the just concluded party primaries across the state.
He enjoined aggrieved members to banish the thought that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would win to spite their own party, just because of the perceived injustice was done to them, admonishing: “Indigenes would not want their town destroyed.”
“We can be aggrieved but we should resolve to work together,” he said.
