19-year-old-girl raped, killed in Ibadan

A 19-year-old student of the Institute of Agriculture, Research and Training, Ibadan, Barakat Bello, has been allegedly raped and killed in Ibadan, Oyo State, by yet-to-be-identified persons.

It was gathered that Barakat Bello was killed in her home at Akinyele local government area of the state on Monday night.

The victim’s sister found Barakat’s body at the back of the house in a pool of her blood when she returned from Quranic lessons.

When contacted, Oyo state Police Public Relations Officer, Gbenga Fadeyi said was still gathering more information from the Akinyele Divisional Police Officer about the incident.
